Well, if you've read Naomi's blog you already know everything about what I'm going to blog about. It was all very lovely.
My mum was in the kitchen and I went in for some reason and she showed me a red, heart-shaped ring box. She opened it and asked me if Naomi would wear a ring like that and I said, "probably, why?" She said that it'd be nice for Naomi to have it and that I could give it to her if I wanted and if she liked it.
So, I went back into Naomi, who was on the floor with the cat, and pulled her over to the sofa with me and showed it to her and asked if she liked it. She said she did and I asked her if she wanted to wear it and she said she did and I gave it to her to try on. It fit and she was smiling a lot and saying she liked it, then asked me if I was going to do it all properly. I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me, properly this time, and put it on her finger.
All the while she looked like she was going to cry. She didn't, but I got that it was very moving for her.
I couldn't help grinning for most of the rest of the afternoon.
I'm not even going to write that I'm so happy because it just doesn't do it justice.
I just kissed her upside down and I've gone all dizzy. So that's your lot.
